Stampin Fun

My friend Tracy invited me to a Stampin Up party yesterday and it was so much fun! We made three cute little Christmas projects. I thought I would take some pictures of a couple of them for practice.

I think I'm suppose to give them as presents but they are just so cute I might just have to keep them for myself.

This cute little bucket is filled with Peppermint Patties that have that cute little snowman on top of them.

I love this little basket/box thingy but I haven't decided what to put in it yet.

FInally Some Halloween Pictures

We went to the 10th annual Lionscrest Manor Halloween party on the Sunday after Halloween. It is so much fun! They have food, games, crafts, cookie decorating and trick or treating and at the end of the party the kids all get the cutest little t-shirts! I will have to try and get a pic of the girls in their t-shirts from this year and post it.

Here is Katie walking up the stairs to the party. They had cob webs everywhere, and giant blow up spiders climbing up the balcony.

They had a huge blow up scary castle inside that the girls ran through laughing and screaming. Now that I think about it, it was probably a haunted house not a castle.

This was one of the games, the kids had to try and eat the doughnut off of the string. Katie tried and tried but couldn't get it.

Katie was a ladybug when we went trick or treating on Halloween. It was so nice out that I put both the girls in the stroller and we walked all over Lyons.

Charlotte liked staying at Grandma's and going through her candy better than trick or treating.

Just One Pumpkin Picture!

All I want is one good pumpkin picture for this fall! I think one of my problems is that I keep trying to take pics at the wrong time of day the other is I have kids not models. My kids would rather play than pose for picture, can you believe that! Silly girls. We went to the pumpkin patch the other day and they had fun, but I didn't get a cute picture of the two of them. I think I might try it again this week, maybe go at a better time of day and bribe the girls with some kind of treat. Although we are going to the Halloween parade tonight so they may get overloaded on treats!

I love this little pink cowboy hat! I've been wanting to get Katie one forever, and I finally broke down and got it. Somewhere I have pictures of my Mom and her brothers and sister in hats like this. I doubt theirs were pink though.

My Poor Little Models

Charlotte had a bath this morning and she just looked so cute that I had to take some pictures! I let her play with the phone to keep her happy while I snapped away. She probably called China, but I think it was worth it!

Katie, for once, wanted me to take some pics of her too. Of course she hadn't had a bath yet so her hair was a mess. I was just happy that she let me take some without making faces. Although by the time I was done she did start.

My Two Girls

I just wanted to post some pictures that thought were cute of the girls.

I've decided that Charlotte is going to wear all the cute dresses she got this summer all winter long. They are just so cute I'm going to put them over shirts and pants.

Charlotte loves the remote control. She will pick it up and start pushing buttons and look at the TV to see what it's doing. We have to watch her though, she has come way too close to purchasing some pay per view a couple of times.

More Flowers

Here are some more of Mom's flowers. Her yard is so beautiful, she is not looking forward to the first frost!

Grandma's Yard

Katie and mom were giving me a tour of Grandma's yard and all of her pretty flowers. I don't know how I talked mom into actually looking at the camera and letting me take a picture. Probably had something to do with the fact that she was with her favorite things, her flowers and her grandkids.

I think this is a Hibiscus, it is my Mom's favorite! The flowers are bigger than my hand.

This is the one and only Hip Hop. My parent's pet chicken. They have lots of chickens but I think this one is like 7 years old! She likes to be held and she will even let all the little kids pick her up and pet her.

Mommy and baby are both doing fine.

Big Fishing Outing

We went fishing on Sunday up by Pat's elk camp. We walked probably less than a half a mile from where we parked to a little creek. John and Katie fished with her Dora fishing pole, although I think John fished a lot more than Katie. She wanted to hang out with Aunt Michelle. Michelle, Tucker and Barry went with us, Pat and Wyatt were hunting. Here are a couple pictures from our outing.

Unhappy Charlotte after I scooped a handful of pine needles, seeds and dirt out of her mouth. She just doesn't understand why I wont let her eat all that good stuff that is on the ground. I actually think she would eat better if I just left her a trail of food around the house on the floor.
Katie, our little hiker. She did pretty good on our little walk, although Michelle did have to carry her back up the hill to the car.

Water

Katie was pretending to be water so she wanted me to carry her around in this bucket. She has such an imagination! The other day she told me I was a cow, not to be mean just because she wanted me to pretend to be a real cow so that she could rope me. She had a jump rope and started swinging it around. I thought she might knock Charlotte out with the hard little plastic handle so I yelled "Katie. No. Don't swing that rope in the house!" She sat there for a minute looking kind of sad. Then she looked at me and said "You are a cow and cows don't say Katie don't swing that rope, cows say moo!" How do you argue with that?

Baby Shower

We had a baby shower for my beautiful friend Melissa on Saturday. Here she is with her prize for winning the dirty diaper candy bar game.

Fat Lip

Charlotte is climbing on everything! The other day she climbed up on one of Katie's little Dora chairs and tipped over. This beautiful fat lip was her reward. Poor little girl, just turned one and already had her first fat lip.
