Family Fun magazine, I think, had this tip for dying eggs with little kids. I thought it worked great!

I've never entered the I Heart Faces weekly photography contest but when I saw the theme for this week I immediately thought of this picture. This was taking this summer when we went to listen to David's band play at the Larimer County Fair.

Valentine's Day!

The girls and I mailed our Valentine's out today, I know we are cutting it pretty close or as close as we possibly could! UPS delivered the Valentine's around 2:30 and I tried to quickly print out the envelopes, stuff them, and stamp them and head out for the Loveland Post Office! We actually took a small stack to the Chamber of Commerce building (the ones I had stamps for) just to make sure they would get the special Valentines day stamp! We mailed the rest from the Loveland Post Office after we bought more stamps and sat on the floor by the cute red mailbox to stamp them. While we were sitting there a lady came in with a bag full of Valentines and asked the girls if they would mail them for her. They were so excited to get to stuff all of her Valentines and ours into the pretty mailbox.

One of the many HeARTS around Loveland. This one is in front of the Visitor Center/Chamber of Commerce and is called "Small Town Big Heart". I have been trying to locate all 18 of them. This one has a bunch of different Loveland landmarks on it, including the wooden Indian that I often reference when giving out directions to our house.

Kindergarten Registration

Oh how I am not ready for this! We stopped by the school Katie will be going to next year to pick up her Kindergarten registration packet. She was SO excited. She can't wait to go to school. I just can't believe she is old enough for school already, where did my little baby go?

Presents

I think I said I would try and get some pictures of the awesome Christmas/birthday presents I got this year so here we go.

Katie, for some reason, thought that I needed a new purse. I did need/want a new purse but I don't remember ever telling her that. I have a BIG black purse that I have been using for quite some time as a purse/diaper bag so I wanted to get a new smaller purse. Katie told John what she wanted to get me and actually did a pretty good job at keeping it a secret. John took her shopping and they couldn't find a "big pink purse" just like my black one, which is what Katie thought I needed. They did find a "big red purse/laptop bag" after searching a couple different stores. I didn't take a picture of my "big red purse" yet, but I did take a picture of the pink purse that John got me for Christmas that he must have found on his own.

I LOVE my new pink purse! It is just the right size, and has a long strap, and it's super soft. John did a great job! Having said that, I really love Katie's new purse that she got for Christmas from her cousin Shawn.

Katie's purse is much smaller but it's sparkle zebra striped, with a hot pink handle! I mean how cool is that? Who wouldn't want this purse. It's a little small for me, but I could probably get away with using it as a clutch.

Madison

I was playing around with a picture I took of Madison last summer in photo shop and thought I'd post it. I was trying a black and white conversion that I learned on the Photovision DVD, not sure if I like it or not.

New Wardrobe

Katie got practically a whole new wardrobe from her cousin Shawn for Christmas! It's the cutest Gymboree stuff. Here is a picture of her modeling one outfit the day after Christmas. Katie and I went shopping and Charlotte stayed home with Daddy. Of course the first store we went to Katie fell and ripped a whole in her cute leggings. We were at Target so we looked for a new pair, but they didn't have the cute polka dot ones so she wanted red ones. I talked her out of red and got a plain pink pair. Charlotte got some super cute clothes from Grandma Wright, including this butterfly outfit.
