Keke, Lennon and Deacon. From a little photo session this summer that I finally edited!
Keke says these are her kids, but I think they are mine. I know I could pass for Lennon's mom, Deacon's red hair might be a little hard to explain. They are so darn cute!

Peanut Butter Blossoms

Katie and I made peanut butter blossoms yesterday the way Aunt Teresa makes them, with peanut butter cup instead of a Hershey's Kiss. MMMM they are so good, and almost all gone already!

Katie's Fly

Here is Katie catching another fly! She loves catching them and playing with them I know, YUCK, but at least it's a fly and not a spider or a snake or something!

Yep that's the fly on the tip of her finger, I know not a great pic but you get the idea!

Made Me Cry!

I went into the living room the other day and Charlotte was asleep and Katie was laying next to her holding her hand watching a show. I seriously started to cry and then composed myself and ran for my camera!!! Katie always wants Charlotte to hug and kiss her and Charlotte usually refuses (actually she SCREAMS NOOOOO!) so I guess this seemed like the perfect time for Katie to get her Charlotte time.

Awesome Craft!

As my friend, and craft lady extraordinaire Teresa would say....Seriously People! Is this the cutest craft ever, or what?

Teresa, really could it get any cuter? These are coasters made out of cocktail napkins and ceramic tiles! These are the ones I made but oh my you should see the cute ones Teresa made! What a super great MOPS craft!!! L-O-V-E IT! I love these napkin so much! I think I might have to just decorate my house to match them! At the very least my kitchen or the girls room, shhhhh don't tell John.

OK you caught me, mine aren't done... I still need to put the clear, shiny finish stuff on and the cork board stuff on the bottom. I ran out of the finish stuff, but they still look cute enough for a picture or two or three or four...

I just thought it was funny that I was searching the web for directions (cause I went and bought the wrong kind of shiny finish stuff) and I found this video and they use the SAME napkin I used!!!

Shiny Sink

Ok, I've only started to do Flylady about 1000 times, but this time it's gonna work! I just know it! Here is my shiny sink from this morning. Now to see if I can wake up to it like that again tomorrow! (Don't mind the old yucky tile, our kitchen needs some remodeling!)

Cupcakes!!!

For some reason I have quite a few funfetti cake mixes with the frosting to match in my pantry so this morning I let Katie make cupcakes. She cracked all the eggs, including one that landed on the counter so we had to add another one. She mixed and mixed and mixed and mixed! (I think she might have been sneaking some licks in there two.) Then, now this is the most IMPRESSIVE part, she filled all the cups BY HERSELF.... WITHOUT MAKING A MESS!!! I always use one of the pampered chef scoops to fill my cupcake tins and I usually don't let Katie do it, cause she makes such a mess and they aren't all even and pretty. Yes, even though my house is a mess I can be that kind of Mom! Today I showed her how to fill the scoop and then scrape it on the side of the bowl and then I just left her too it. Literally I left the room and let her do it all by herself and I just wish I would have taken a picture of how well she did! Not a drip in site!! YEAH KATIE!!!

Here are some of the final product, which she frosted and sprinkled by herself too! I know they are not the funfetti sprinkles, because Charlotte ate those the minute I brought that particular can into the house. I like these sprinkles better anyway.

Trying to get a picture of these two is like....

I don't even know what it is like... but it's hard! I wanted to get a good picture of them both smiling for a gift for John's mom. I don't know if she has got it yet so I can't tell you what kind of gift. Anyway this is the one I used. I did crop out the dirty house in the background for the gift. Who's house is that anyway? LOL (I might actually have another post about just that a little later!)

In Loving Memory of Leona "Gail" Johnson

I don’t know what to do today
My tears wont seem to dry.
I need to clean and take a bath
But all I do is cry
The guilt is overwhelming
The sadness won’t subside
I want to lay and cry all day
Cover my head and hide
I didn’t do enough
I could have loved her more
Life gets in the way sometimes
It kept me from her door
I pray for peace for her today
And for those she left behind
I loved her smile, her grace, her heart
Her intellectual mind
I love you so much Aunt Gail
I wish we’d had more time!

I know I'm not a poet, just tried to write what I was feeling.

Some more of Aunt Gail's amazing art work:
