Wright Wedding

Ok I guess we are not the only Colorado Wrights. I have cousins in Denver that are Wrights also and their youngest son got married this weekend. It was so beautiful and the colors were pink and more pink so of course I loved it!

After the bridal party did a traditional slow dance they did a sort of hip hop line dance thing. It was so cute! I tried to get a good picture of it, the lighting wasn't great so I was just happy I got this!

Katie and Lennon making silly faces for the camera.

Aunt Linda and Charlotte.
I just loved the look on Charlotte's face! She has a pacifier because we were pulling anything and everything out of the diaper bag to try and keep her happy during the reception.

Don't Let The Bed Bugs Bite

Katie wanted to sleep in her tent the other night. She lasted about 3 or 4 hours before she came crawling into our bed. The tent is still up in our living room. Charlotte and Katie both love to play in it.

Pollyanna

Ok I just have to say that if you haven't watched the movie Pollyanna with Hailey Mills, you have to stop what your doing go to net flicks or block buster or whatever you use to get movies and get it and watch it! I watched it again yesterday and it is just such a good movie! It was on the Hallmark channel when I was flipping through so I just had to stop!

I just love the carnival scene! With the fishing game and all the fun food! Oh, I would love a piece of that cake! Trust me, when you see it you will want one too!

I almost forgot there is a Pretty Woman-ish shopping scene! The clothes are adorable but the hats, they are divine! So much fun to have a hat to match every outfit! Why did people stop wearing hats? I heard one time that men stopped wearing them because of some president, but I can't remember which one now. Hmmm might have to Google that!

Any body out there love this movie too? Or have a recommendation for a good old family movie?

More Cheese Please!

MMMMM Cheesy!Umm.... what can I say.... there is some spaghetti under there! This was the same night I had already cleaned up a similar mess that involved ranch dressing (the really big bottle), salsa (the really really big bottle) and a tiny tiny bowl on the kitchen floor.

No Cavities!

Katie went back to the dentist for her 6 month check up yesterday and every thing looks good, no cavities! Of course I just bought Charlotte a toothbrush the day before and the dentist gave her and Katie new ones. I didn't think that he might give Charlotte one too.
Here is Katie showing off her clean teeth and awesome goodie bag that she got at the dentist and Charlotte with her new toothbrush. Katie got to pick out two toys since she didn't have any cavities even though she cried, screamed, and kicked through the whole appointment.

Busy Week

Charlotte has had a busy week! She started crawling on her hands and knees on Saturday and started pulling herelf up by herself on Monday! I have a horrible feeling that walking is right around the corner and Momma is not ready for that! I haven't been able to capture a good picture of her pulling herself up. Every time I get the camer she sits/falls back downa and crawls to me to try and get it. So here is a picture I took Tuesday that I had some fun with in Photoshop.

Happy Father's Day!

John let me take some pictures of him with the girls, since it was father's day. As you can tell he loves getting his picture taken. Although I think he did want a picture with the girls cause he didn't argue at all when I asked.

Pretty much the only one out of 20 or so where they are all looking at me.

Katie and her Daddy. They had just finished a game of Memory, which Katie won. She would yell at me every time she got a match and tell me what it was.

Tea Party

My Great Aunt Dude had a party for the little girls in our family this week, it was so much fun. I'm pretty sure this little party was the talk of the town! Everyone wanted an invite. The girls had so much fun and they all played really well together.

Hannah, Hailey, Hannah, Katie, Aunt Dude and Charlotte.
Aunt Dude gave them all the cutest presents, including these cute hats. I will try and post some pictures of all the cute stuff she gave them.

Carolyn sent all the girls presents too. Here they are opening up the books she sent which were are big hit! One of the books has a kitten named Katie, oh my gosh you should have seen/heard Katie when I read that part of the book. She kept yelling "Katie like me?!" That book is of course her favorite now.

Charlotte opening her set of animal books.

My dainty little Katie eating one of the cute heart shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that Aunt Dude made for them.

Charlotte

Here is kind of a funny picture I took of Charlotte when we were watching Dave's concert in the park. I was obviously too close to her because she tagged my camera lens with a soggy cheeto!

Surveyor

Katie made the local paper! (She's the one in the pink)
We went to listen to my cousin Dave's (the one in the cowboy hat) band last weekend and she had so much fun dancing! She was doing some sort of weird chicken wing thing with her arms, it was so cute. She wanted to take her guitar so that she could play with Dave and people could watch her! In fact she just walked right up on the stage when they were done playing, I guess she thought it was her turn.

Good Luck

Katie and John found this in our yard the other day and I was so impressed! I put it in a little glass of water and it's in the window by my kitchen sink. A little something to make me smile while I do the dishes.

Devri

Devri you are the next victim! How cool are we? Awe all the memories! I couldn't find any pics from elementary school, but I know I have some.

Me and Devri making quite the fashion statement! This was a dress up day during homecoming week our senior year, at least that's the story I'm sticking with.

Devri, Jessica and me hanging out on the bleachers of the high school gym.

In the parking lot at Taco Bell, catching up after Devri's European vacation and judging by the Xs on our hands some dancing at the Cactus Moon.

Me, Devri and Cama in a parking lot by the Grizzly Rose, I'm guessing we set the camera on the ground for this terrific shot! I think we may have retired our dancing shoe or actually boots after this outing.

It Could Be YOU!

James Dean (the big digital camera) is at Christi's house and my poor little Powershot (the little digital camera) is not feeling well so I'm going into the vault for pictures to post this week! Watch out there could be a picture of you popping up!

Poor Tamera, you are the first victim! Since I know you look at my blog and are one of the very few that leave me comments! (Really people leave comments I'd love to see that you checked out my blog!)

Anyway here is a little blast from the past of Tamera and I on the first day of our eighth grade school year! GO TREK! Tamera, do you remember what that stood for? T-R-E-K? I didn't even remember it but it was written down in my scrapbook.

Any E.V.M.S. Alumni out there? I know you're out there! Post a comment and I will send you a little Creative Memories Scrapbooking treat!

Tamera, Me and Crystal on top of a mountain after a long hike during our eighth grade trip to Snow Mountain Ranch. I don't know if you can see it but I have black sunglasses with a neon green string "laced" through them hanging on my neck! How cool am I? Just wait, I will find some other really good fashion moments to post! Can anyone say M.C. Hammer pants?

If you want to see a picture of you on my blog leave me a comment and I will race to pull something out of the vault, otherwise known as the mess of pictures in Katie's closet. Or just keep coming back you never know when you will be the next post victim!
